About Moriarty's Driving School
We conduct a fun, affordable, interactive Driver Training Program that includes:
- Interesting Class Work
- Driving Lessons – With Massachusetts registry certified instructors that will work around your busy schedule (12 lessons)
- Observation – (6 hrs)
- MANDATORY PARENT NIGHT
According to MA State Law, in order to begin your Driver's Ed Classroom Instruction you must be 15 years and 9 months of age or older.
Additionally, you must be 16 years of age or older to receive your Driver's Permit and begin the Driving Lesson portion of your instruction. That gives you a 3 month window to figure out how to schedule the 2 weeks of classroom instruction into your busy schedule.
Parent Night (Registry Requirement) – Two hour class explaining all the reasons your child can have their license suspended, and ways to help prevent that. Resources to assist you in teaching your child to drive safely. An open questions and answer period with an instructor.
Class Room- (Registry Requirement) Each student must attend and pass a 30 hours class. In this electric and interactive class we will be explaining the rules of the road, laws and fundamentals of driving. All classes are taught by one of our registry certified instructors. The student will also learn how to change a tire, what to do in case of emergencies, and much, much more!
Drunk Driving Education- The class also uses a nationally recognized and award winning program ("We've Had Enough...") teaching your child about the dangers of impaired operation (drugs and alcohol). The student will use "Fatal Vision Goggles", a Field Sobriety Test, a PowerPoint presentation and an open question and answer period.
